Evaluation & Promotion
Two terminal examinations and two unit tests will be conducted during the academic session March to February. One must not absent oneself from any of these examinations except for reason of health, in which case, a medical certifiate may be submitted.
- Examination cannot be deferred nor can they be anticipated to suit individual convenience. No re-examination will be conducted in any subject. Absence from or failure in a subject excludes a student from being reckoned in the order of merit.
- Parents are welcome to consult the subject teachers to make out the mistakes committed by their wards in the answer sheets during the Parent- Teacher meeting.
- The standard of passing is 35% of marks in each subject. For promotion, 80% of the marks will be adjudged from (T1+T2) and 20% from (UT1+UT2).
- Report card should be signed by the parents/guardians in the school itself on assigned days. Report card will not be shown to parents if they fail to come on assigned days.
- Only those students who have paid the school fees for the academic year and have obtained 85% attendance shall be eligible to appear in the fial examinations.
- Any kind of malpractice in the examination is punishable with expulsion from the examination hall and subsequent cancellation of the paper or
the whole examination.
- Results declared at the end of the school year is fial. It will not be reconsidered and answer sheet will not be shown.
- Promotion is granted on the basis of the entire year’s performance which shall cover unit test, terminal tests, class work, attendance, assignments, conduct and discipline.
